I made this drawing and painting over the last couple of months subsequent to the sad loss of my father. They do relate to our last conversation together. I don’t want to ‘explain’ the pieces as I do believe art is another language and it shouldn’t be necessary. Suffice it to say it is about human relationships, but at the end of the day it can mean whatever you want it to mean. The painting and drawing made themselves as usual when I know something wants to manifest itself. I aim to do more pieces relating to losing dad and find it helps me come to terms.
