The motif for this large acrylic on canvas also came from the French holiday where the inspiration for 'Lane' and 'Fence' emerged. This time it was a shrub in the garden that provided stimulus. I made the original over several months whilst visiting my brother's gallery in the lakes referring to a sketch made in front of the motif.
